By Air: The nearest Airport is Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati
1. Guwahati railway station is the main railway station
2. Kamakhya railway station (Near Kamakhya Temple)
On arrival at the Airport / the railway station, the participants will be met by a team from the organizing committee.

Sightseeing : ₹ 1000/- per person per event
1. Cruise on Brahmaputra with dinner (Sept. 15th -Evening)
2. Shillong (Meghalaya) (Sept.16th- whole day)
3. Bhutan * (Sept. 16th - whole day )
The outing to Shillong is recommended. There will be a stopover at the beautiful lake ‘Bara Pani’ (Umiam Lake) and before proceeding to ‘Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures’, Shillong, acclaimed as one of the finest museums in Asia showcasing the north-eastern cultural heritage, giving us a glimpse of life in north-eastern India. We will be provided with a typical tribal lunch. This will be followed by a visit ‘Shillong Peak’ and the historic Mary Help of Christians Cathedral before joining the Archbishop for tea.
* If there are sufficient numbers, a trip to Bhutan (Samdrup Jhonkar) will be undertaken on Sept. 16, 2019.
On Friday, 13th there will be a special cultural programme at 6.00 pm for two hours by the DBI students and also other groups invited from outside.
This will be organised by the DBI staff.
