III. A National workshop for Principals and Managers"Transformative Leadership to meet the challenges in Higher Educational institutions" will be held at Loyola College, Thiruvananthapuram. Feb. 10-12, 2017. Participants will be limited to 100 on a first come first served basis (maximum of only 2 from each member college). Fr. Greetings from Xavier Board of Higher Education in India!

By the grace of God, we will be organizing the 22nd Triennial Conference of Xavier Board from May 5-8, 2016 at the Sahrdaya College of Engineering & Technology, Kodakara, Thrissur, Kerala. His Excellency Mary Pauly Kannookadan, Bishop of Irinjalakuda, Fr. Dr. Antu Alappadan (Ex-Director) and Principal, Dr. Sudha George Valavi have graciously extended a warm welcome to their College which was established in 2002. We gratefully accept their invitation and in turn welcome all of you to the next Triennial Conference. One of the main issues that will be taken up at this Conference will be amendment of the Byelaws of XBHEI, which we hope will make Xavier Board more effective.

Record of events after the Triennial Conference at Mysore April 2013

I am happy to present before the honored members of the Xavier Board, a brief report of events that have taken place after the triennial conference 2013, to-date. Six months ago, Xavier Board celebrated the completion of sixty eventful years of its existence. All of us have witnessed the grand finale of this Diamond Jubilee celebrations, held at Prabhodhana, a sprawling campus of nature’s delight, enriched by ornamental plants and greeneries in Mysore. There is no denying the fact of the intricate planning and organizing of the whole event which truly deserve a big applause. We acknowledge with gratitude, the untiring effort of the former team of office bearers and board members, who worked with grit and fervor, to make the event worthy of its significance. We place on record, the spirited services of Prof. Varghese Vazaphally, the former president, Rev. Fr. Dhana Paul S.J., former secretary General, Sr. Doris D’souza, vice president, Fr. Leslie Moras, the Principal of St Philomina’s College, and the willing support and co-operation of friends and benefactors, with special mention of the staff and students of St. Philomina’s College, Mysore and the spirited guidance of Fr. Leslie Moras. Hats off to the entire team as we offer them our sincere accolades.

62nd Annual Board Meet at Agarthala

The 62nd Annual Board Meeting of the Xavier Board was held at Holy Cross College, Agarthala, from 1st November to 3rd November 2013. As I frame this report, I feel urged to place on record, our deep sense of gratitude, on behalf of the President, the Executive Council and all the Board members of Xavier Board, to Rev. Fr. K.J. Abraham CSC, Provincial Superior, Holy Cross Fathers, North East India, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel, Principal, the Staff and students of Holy Cross College, Agarthala, for their untiring effort in planning and organizing the programme and carrying it out with much zeal, dedication and good will. The Holy Cross College and the Moreau Community provided the most conducive ambience for the smooth conduct of the programme. All the participants were happy and in great appreciation of the arrangements as they parted with memories to cherish. A BIG THANK YOU TO Fr. Emmanuel and his team.


The Programme commenced on the afternoon of November 1st, with the celebration of the Holy Mass officiated by His Lordship, Rt. Rev. Dr. Lumen Monteiro, Bishop of Agarthala. This was followed by business session.
